Lahari Virudha Club

The aim of ‘Lahari Virudha Club’ is to ensure a drug free campus, and to spread the antidrug message to the society.  Club activities include organizing classes, workshops, campaigns, pamphlet distribution, street play’s rally’s etc. against drug abuse, alcoholism.

St.Aloysius College got third prize in the district-level health play competition on ‘substance abuse among adolescents and its ill-effects’ held at Town Hall, Thrissur. The program was organized by media centre of the District Medical Office, Thrissur.

The award of Citation and Cash prize for the  State Level Best College against Alchoholism and in 2017 became a recognition for the activities of the Club.  The award was received from Chief Minister Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan, on 26/06/2017 during ‘International Anti-Substance Day’ celebration organized at GVHSS, Kannur.
